MOTA 009 - Words on the Ground is the topic of the second in a series of migrant conversations in the 21/22 season. Words on the ground are what make up our foundations, what trip us up, what raise the alarm, what hold us safe, what allow us to navigate in the thick complexity of stories - our own and those written from far away. The shifting, malleable, untrustworthy set of alternative knowledges, gossip, urban myths, overheard conversations, tags on walls and stickers on lamp posts that tie us to places and communities.
