Nassia Fourtouni
Nassia Fourtouni is a Brussels-based dance researcher, dramaturge and performer.
She studied Dance and English Literature in Athens, holds an MA in Contemporary Theatre, Dance & Dramaturgy from Utrecht University and an MA in Cultural Studies from KULeuven.
She has collaborated as a writer with Athens Festival, Kalamata Dance Festival and Workspace Brussels. She has co-written texts with Nina Gojić and Elena Novaković, and has worked as a dramaturg and artistic advisor in performance. She was a participant in the third cycle of the program Critical Practice made in YU. She received the Impulstanz Danceweb scholarship for 2016.
Since December 2015 she collaborates with Ellen Söderhult in the open source project Nobody’s Dance. Currently she is working as a dramaturge with Marialena Marouda in the project Oceanographies and is an artistic researcher in a.pass (advanced performance and scenography studies) post master program in Brussels, developing a project on dramaturgical practice informed by somatic methods.
