Miguel Escobar is a visual artist currently residing between Bruges, Belgium and Cali, Colombia. His videos and video installations follow processes in which details, references, and symbolic values are broken and reorganized. Often in his works, he appropriates images to transform them giving rise to references that seem strange or unfitting despite being their own.
