In the cont ext of the cultural festival Bewogen organises Salon it’s first edition togetter with Workspace Brussels.
The theme of the first salon is probably best articulated as 'why we keep doing it' a theme maybe searching for questions about the personal within the artistic process, maybe for the social / vocational or simply to understand the madness (obsession? pain? hurt? different thinking? ) inherent to artistic creation.
Salon is a meeting place for artists from different disciplines and backgrounds. Every Salon is about a new theme on which an other artist is invited to formulate a question. This question formulated for the participants is based on the artistic work or process of the artist.Salon is a nomadic project that has no fixed location and so becomes a guest of different organisations in the Brussels artistic landscape.
